The Full Story

Do you ever feel like there is a hint of light that inspires you as a person and motivates you when you feel lost? This is the purpose of Hint of Light Diverse Abilities (HOLDA). When I was in seventh grade, I had the chance to bond and connect with autistic children around my age at a non-profit organization. Throughout my experience, I was able to make cherishing friendships and it made me realize that we are all different but we are all equal.

Hint of Light Diverse Abilities (HOLDA) aims to create a connection between children with diverse abilities and Shawnigan Lake School students as how I experienced in seventh grade. At the same time, I hope to help raise awareness among our generation.

A Hint of Light Art Project

A Hint of Light Art Project is a SOUL seeking project that focuses its attention on autistic children. This project made an impact on the community where the painting has been sold to the Shawnigan Learning Centre and donated all $500 to the Clements Centre for Families.

Grace Zhuang

Hi there! My name is Grace Zhuang, a student at Shawnigan Lake School and I’m so glad you’ve arrived. Hint of Light Diverse Abilities (HOLDA) is a platform that tries to help raise awareness, spark ideas, and make positive changes for people who have diverse abilities.
